Participate in an Online Community Workshop
An initial Online Community Workshop was held early in the process during the summer of 2010. A second workshop was held during the summer of 2011.

Attend a Community Forum
During August and September, members of the JCCVC and the project team will host a series of Community Forums intended to provide an opportunity for Johnson County residents and other project stakeholders to review draft materials and have informal conversations with the committee about the process. Click here to see a list of Community Forum dates and locations. In April, members of the JCCVC hosted a Youth Forum attended by representatives from area school districts. Attendees participated in several exercises designed to gather a youth perspective on the future of Johnson County. Results of the exercises are provided below:
Attend a Johnson County Citizens Visioning Committee Meeting
The Johnson County Citizens Visioning Committee will help guide the visioning process and share their values and ideas about the County’s future. This group represents a broad variety of interests and backgrounds. The committee will meet monthly throughout the process to share ideas and craft recommendations for the plan.
These meetings are open to the public, and each meeting will allow some time for public comments at the beginning or end. Please attend, listen to the discussion, and share your ideas or concerns. Click here to download meeting agendas and minutes.
